JERRY'S HOUSE: WHAT WE DO

HEALING THROUGH LAUGHTER

Laughter is good for us! It feels good, it’s contagious, and it has a positive impact on the world.

This is why we teach children and young people the art of laughter, especially those who are living with:

  •  a chronic disease

  • a disability

  • mental illness

  • the legacy of emotional, physical, or psychological abuse

Laughing and seeing the funny side of ourselves (and others) has many benefits. Not only does it provide much-needed relief but it is also proven to address issues such as fear, depression, hatred, prejudice and even addiction.

The therapeutic benefits of laughter are for everyone. By aligning moments of creativity, humour, comedy, and play to real needs, Jerry’s House offers real opportunities for young people to reframe their difficult life experiences and grow forward.
